Several conversations have put doubt into the FreeGeek IWW alliance in Portland.  Let me remind you that IWW Union runs FreeGeek!

The founding member Oso Martin is a card member of the IWW!  Further information shows FreeGeek emails being used to support and promote the IWW to raise funds.

This is not a coworker sending you a email to buy his kids Girl Scout Cookies!  It is a email to the “Free Geek” community to raise funds by renting out the IWW hall for parties and more!  Funds that will in-part support the criminals that the IWW wants to spring from jail!  As read about in the post on this site!

I got a call from a friend in the IWW that needed a room for a short
notice meeting this Wednesday evening at 6:30. I checked the room use
calendar and saw that it wasn't booked, so I went ahead and scheduled
the meeting.

I'll call back this guy later on this morning to confirm. I'm happy to
stick around and do the chaperoning.
